This site is an account of the home renovation trials and triumphs of my hard-working boyfriend and me. From tearing down walls to picking out paint colors, there is plenty to do. Our old house is quite the diamond in the rough.
The image to the right shows the original floor plan of our house when we bought it in December 2003. You can scroll over the image to find links to pages describing the work that has been done. We've still got a long way to go. Most of the work has been done in the front of the house, including the yard.
About this site: The main content pages, listed with bullets to the left, are assigned both a room and job type designation. Of course, we did more than just one thing in each room, but I felt this would be a nice way for you to see the variety of work we've done and what areas of the house we've (mostly) finished.
