Combinatorics of Singular Cardinals Matthew Foreman This talk discusses advances in the field of combinatorics of singular cardinals, encompassing several techniques including stationary set reflection, PCF theory, squares and forcing. It will focus on two developments: 1.) An important strengthening of the classical Lowenheim Skolem theorem (provable in ZFC) along with some applications. 2.) A theory of stationary subsets of singular cardinals (of countable cofinality) with appropriate Fodors Lemma etc.
