I will be holding discussion workshops open to any students of Math 113. The workshops will focus directly on the material from lectures and course-work for the four sections of Math113. Students from Prof. Ogus's honors section are also more than welcome to attend, but material is geared specifically towards these sections.
Discussion Sections
I will be running Discussion Workshops:
Mon 4:00-6:00 PM in 340 Moffit
Tue 12:30-2:00 PM in 385 LeConte ** NEW **
Thu 8:00-9:30 AM in 2312 Tolman Hall.
****Please note the early morning Tuesday section has been rescheduled.
During these discussion sections, we will
1. Solve problems from the course material
2. Go over a selection of old assignment questions
3. Revisit concepts with which you've had difficulty
4. Eventually do review work for midterm and final examinations

If you don't know what to write in your email, here are some ideas!
(1) Ask me a question about Abstract Algebra
(2) Ask me why I call the set of integers "zed" instead of "zee".
(3) Let me know what you liked/didn't like about discussion section this week.
- -I appreciate your feed-back, and constructive criticism. Plus, I don't mark your assignments - so be honest!
(4) Make suggestions for what material to cover in the next discussion.
(5) Schedule an appointment to come in and talk to me about any of (1)-(4).

I will also hold office hours MWF from 10:15 to 11:45 in 852 Evans Hall.
